Copyright & Content Rights
We respect the work of
every creator.
If you are a rights holder and believe content on GitaAmrit infringes your copyright, we will remove it. No legal process required — just reach out.
Our Approach
Non-commercial. No ads. No accounts. Built for devotion, not profit.
GitaAmrit is a personal, non-commercial project with no revenue, no advertising, and no user tracking. All content is accessed locally on the user's device and is never uploaded or distributed further.
We include sacred texts, translations, and recordings that we sourced from publicly accessible archives with the intent of spiritual education and cultural preservation. We believe this constitutes fair dealing under Section 52 of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, which permits reproduction for educational and religious purposes.
That said, fair dealing does not override a rights holder's request for removal. If you want your content removed, we will act immediately — no questions asked.
